WFTV Members’ Films Make BIFA Best British Short Film Award 2017 Long List
Congratulations to directors Eva Riley and Sarah Clift, whose short films have made the long list for this year’s British Independent Film Awards’ Best British Short Film Award.
Sarah’s film, La Madre Buena won the A+E Networks WFTV Lifetime Shorts Competition in 2016 and has gone on to win many other awards, including the Audience Award at this year’s Encounters Festival where NFTS graduate Eva’s film, Diagnosis was also screening in competition. Diagnosis was made with BBC Films and has also recently screened at the Warsaw International Film Festival.
The BIFA Best British Short Film Award short list will be announced on 1 November. Good luck to Eva and Sarah!
