Take survey to help support campaign for parental pay equality

The Campaign for Parental Pay Equality is looking to change current legislation to make self-employed parents eligible for Shared Parental Pay.

The current system of Maternity Allowance for the self-employed places the entire burden of childcare onto the mother, and offers no financial support for self-employed fathers wanting to share some or all of the childcare. Through research, advocacy and lobbying, the Campaign for Parental Pay Equality want to change this inflexible piece of legislation to work for all parents.

WFTV supports this campaign, which is particularly relevant to people working in the creative industries as many are self-employed.
