Producer Lydia Hampson Announced as BAFTA Breakthrough Brit

Congratulations to WFTV member and producer Lydia Hampson who has been announced as one of this year’s BAFTA Breakthrough Brits.

Lydia started her career in live production, working as a runner on Just For Laughs Live. After scouting talent in rooms above pubs to develop and take to the Edinburgh Fringe, she got her TV break when Harry and Jack Williams of production company TwoBrothers asked her to produce a read-through of a comedy programme they were working on, called Fleabag. Lydia went on to be hired to produce the multi-award winning comedy show’s first series.
