Nominations have opened for the 2017 Women in Film and Television Awards supported by Sky.

If you want to see outstanding achievement recognised onstage at the 2017 WFTV Awards, this is your chance to nominate.

Nominations are accepted in 13 different categories, including writing, directing, producing, presenting, performance, project management, craft and business.

Absolutely anyone may nominate a woman they feel is deserving using the online nomination form. A full list of Award categories and definitions can also be found there.

Nominations close at midnight on Wednesday 13th September 2017.

Kate Kinninmont MBE, Chief Executive of Women in Film & TV, commented: “We would like to encourage everyone to think about those talented women they know, work with or see on screen in our industry – we know there are hundreds of them out there – and please take a couple of minutes to nominate them for an award.

Maybe it’s someone you’ve worked with – a terrific editor, production manager or cinematographer. Or perhaps it’s a great new talent you’ve spotted or someone you feel has made a great contribution to the industry over the years. It’s your chance to have your say.

Of course, we couldn’t do any of this without our wonderful industry sponsors. We are delighted that Sky have come back on board as our headline sponsor for another year, and we are also hugely grateful for the continued support of all our other sponsors: Argonon, Barclays, BBC, Creative Skillset, Deluxe, EIKON, ENVY, EON Productions, The Farm, Film Finances, FremantleMedia UK, ITV Studios, MAC, NEP UK, Panalux, Technicolor, Schedule2, and Visual Data Media. Their support allows us to carry out the important year-round work that we do for our members and for all women in the industry.”

The Women in Film & Television Awards 2017, supported by Sky, will take place on Friday 1 December at the London Hilton on Park Lane.

Tickets will go on sale at 11:00am on Tuesday 03 October 2017.  Click here to enter your nomination.
