Making A Difference Conference

WFTV (UK) in association with the BFI present a one day conference looking at best practice in gender equality initiatives in film and TV around the world.

We will be holding a one day conference at BFI Southbank on Monday 15 May when we will be bringing together industry organisations from the UK, as well as representatives from WFTV chapters around the world to discuss current gender equality initiatives, share best practice and look at how we can work together going forward –  internationally as well as in our own countries.

UK speakers include Amanda Nevill, CEO of BFI (above left) and Seetha Kumar, Chief Executive of Creative Skillset (above right), as well as representatives from Creative England, Channel 4, Raising Films, The Bechdel Test Fest, F-Rated and Media Parents.

We will also hear about the best initiatives happening in New York and New Zealand, as well as in Australia, Canada and Sweden.

The conference will include lunch and a networking drinks reception to be held in the BFI Blue Room. Full schedule to be announced soon.

This is an invitation only event. However, we have reserved 20 places for our WFTV members. If you are a WFTV member interested in attending, please e-mail
