Last Chance to Apply for £20k with Bumble’s The Female Film Force
Bumble Presents… The Female Film Force is an initiative offering unique grants to aspiring female filmmakers across the UK and Ireland. At this year’s Oscars only 15% of the winners were female … at the BAFTA’s it was only 20%. We need to see more stories by women, about women and told by women. Wouldn’t we all like to see more of that?
Bumble is the female-first social network that shifted the old fashioned power dynamic by encouraging equality from the start; whether you’re dating, looking for friends, or growing your professional network. They are now giving five women (writer, directors or producers) £20,000 each to make a short film.
To apply, you can either download the Bumble app and follow the below instructions or go direectly to the application form via this link.
Download the Bumble app. Then, swipe through on Bumble Bizz or BFF to match with the Female Film Force profile and follow the instructions on how to apply. If you have any issues at all please swap between Bizz and BFF. For any further questions, please reach out to @bumble on Twitter or you can e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
The deadline for entries is midnight, Wednesday 23 May. Good luck!
