Harvey Weinstein and #MeToo: Help Us To Take Meaningful Action

Our industry, and much of the world, has been convulsed by the Harvey Weinstein revelations. WFTV Chief Executive, Kate Kinninnmont, commented across a range of platforms last week, including speaking on BBC News, ITV news and Sky News, but now we are turning our attention to what action is needed to change things.

WFTV will be working with BFI and other leading industry bodies to make changes and we would like to hear from you.

Have you been bullied, harassed or even physically assaulted? If so, what would have helped you? What safeguards or help mechanisms might we create?

Write to us at: [email protected]. Your email will be read within the WFTV office and kept in confidence.

Please note, this is not a helpline.  We are simply gathering testimonies for research purposes to enable us to work more effectively to eradicate this behaviour from our industry.

If you do want to speak to someone for advice, then Acas run a helpline Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm

Telephone: 0300 123 1100

Textphone: 18001 0300 123 1100

Acas has also produced a guidance leaflet on bullying and harassment.
