Gurinder Chadha’s latest to premiere at Berlinale

WFTV Patron Gurinder Chadha’s latest feature film, Viceroy’s House will have its world premiere at this year’s Berlinale (9 – 19 February). The film, which stars Gillian Anderson and Hugh Bonneville is set in India in 1947 and is based on the true story of Lord Mountbatten, the man charged with handing India back to its people.

The film was co-written by Chadha, Paul Mayeda Berges and former WFTV Award winner Moira Buffini, and will screen out of competition at Berlinale.
