WFTV Events Schedule

We run a comprehensive and hybrid model with a mixture of in-person and virtual events taking place around the UK, at festivals and online. 

 

These free, weekly events for members cover a diverse range of industry-focused topics via workshops, seminars, panel discussions and screenings, with strands such as Writers’ Group, Meet the Commissioner, and also feature online and in-person networking sessions.

At WFTV, we want our events to be accessible for everyone. If you have any access requirements, please let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you. Please contact admin@wftv.org.uk and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

    This week’s online member meet-up is open to new members who have joined WFTV in the past six months. From the comfort of your home, join other new members for an afternoon chat and to find out more about WFTV.

    Join WFTV for an evening of socialising. Our in-person networking sessions are for all WFTV members and women working in the film and TV industry to meet new people in a friendly and informal setting. This event will be hosted in partnership with ABC Projects.

    In this strand of WFTV events, members are invited to Meet the Producer. This session will feature our host Michelle Stein in conversation with multi-award-winning producer, creative lead and co-founder of Media Worx Films, Adi Alfa.

    Made by members, for members; WFTV Short Film Club is a series of in-person, short film screenings. Each WFTV Short Film Club session will screen a collection of member-made short films, followed by the opportunity to meet new and familiar faces in a relaxed, social environment.
