WFTV Short Film Club: October 2024

Made by members, for members; WFTV Short Film Club is a series of in-person, short film screenings. Each WFTV Short Film Club session will screen a collection of member-made short films, followed by the opportunity to meet new and familiar faces in a relaxed, social environment.

Submission Process

To submit your short film for consideration, please click here. You will need to ensure you've read the Submission Guidelines section of the WFTV Short Film Club page before submitting your film. If you have any questions or would like to make any changes to your submission, please contact montana@wftv.org.uk. 

Please note, we will only be accepting films produced after 1st January 2022 and with a run time of under 20 minutes (including opening and closing credits).

We will be accepting any form of short film (narrative, animation, documentary etc) and in all languages.

Selection Process

The WFTV team will review the submissions and the WFTV Film Club programme will be at the discretion of the team.

Once a short film has been submitted via the WFTV Film Club page of our website, the WFTV team will watch all films in their entirety and submit a shortlist to be finalised by the senior events producer and CEO of WFTV.

The team will only consider short films which have been completed and not any rough cuts of the film.

If your film is selected to be screened at this October 2024 edition of the WFTV Film Club, you will be expected to attend the screening in-person. You will be eligible to invite an additional three other guests, they can be fellow members or non-members.

By registering to attend a WFTV event, you comply with WFTV's Member Code of Conduct.

This event is for existing WFTV members only.
