WFTV Kay Mellor Screenwriters’ Lab 2023: Script Showcase

To spotlight and support emerging female writing talent last year WFTV launched our inaugural screenwriters’ lab in memory of Kay Mellor. The five-day lab brought together 13 screenwriters in October 2023 at the Arvon Foundation’s Lumb Bank house for a programme of craft writing masterclasses, tutor-led workshops and independent writing time to work on their scripts.  

Join us for this special event to meet the writers of the 2023 WFTV Kay Mellor Screenwriters’ Lab and hear some of their work read by professional actors. Following the readings there will be networking over drinks with WFTV members and industry colleagues.
