To spotlight and support emerging female writing talent in film and TV last year WFTV hosted the second Screenwriters' Lab in memory of Kay Mellor.
The five-day lab brought together 13 screenwriters in October 2024 at the Arvon Foundation’s house The Hurst for a week of programme of intensive workshops, mentorship and industry insight.
Join us for this special event to meet the writers of the 2024 WFTV Kay Mellor Screenwriters’ Lab and hear some of their work read by professional actors from the WFTV membership. Following the readings there will be networking over drinks with WFTV members and industry colleagues.
