About the Event

Throughout April WFTV will be hosting a special event series on upskilling, with talks, workshops and 1-2-1 clinics designed to develop your skillset. From focused insights on different fields and roles in the industry to how you can best collaborate with others and, get the most out of your project, there’s something for everyone whichever stage of your career you’re at.

Your CV summarises your career and is the way to open doors to your next job, so making sure it has the relevant experience to fit the job you’re applying for whilst also containing your skills and character can be tough. Sara Putt of leading industry agency Sara Putt Associates will be sharing tips on how to edit your CV for the role you’re applying for and tips and tricks to be noticed so that you’re invited to interview.

Sara Putt

Based at Shepperton Studios Sara Putt Associates is the leading independent UK agency for film and TV directors, producers and heads of department.  Having been established for over 20 years, the agency provides personal management and representation within feature films, TV drama, documentaries and entertainment.  Alongside the Agency, SPA Crew provides diary management, support & production knowledge for crew. Keen on nurturing new talent, in 2011 Sara launched the 'Sara Putt Trainee Scheme' providing opportunities to those at the start of their careers. The company collaborates with film and television agents in the US and work alongside UK literary agency ‘Sayle Screen’.

How will the online event work?

This event will be live streamed via Zoom.us. Viewing details will be sent via your confirmation email.

This is an interactive session and will be taking place as a Zoom meeting. Attendees should access the event using a device with audio and video functions to participate.
