30th March 2020 18:00

Join us online via Zoom.us | Viewing details will be sent with your Eventbrite confirmation

Are you currently working on developing a pitch for your project and looking to get feedback from other writers? Or are you stuck on a writing problem and want a fresh perspective from peers?

Bring your pitches and your writing problems to a safe space for discussion. This online Writers’ Group session will help to unstick you and give you the chance to practise pitching your project to a friendly and supportive crowd. There will also be the chance to discuss any writing problems you are currently facing, as well as time to introduce yourself and meet other writers in the group.

To get the most out of the session, please come prepared to pitch one project verbally to a small group. If you have a one-page pitch document, there is an option to share this during the meeting if you are using a desktop device.

WFTV Writers Group Series Producer, Christina Pickworth is an agent for writers and directors at a small, bespoke agency Imagine Talent, with a list that focuses on emerging talent and female voices. Christina has written feature films, consulted for production companies and financiers, and freelanced at United Agents, as well as spending several years working in film development finance for a fund that invested in 300 British film projects over 3 years. Christina has previously sat on the selection committee for the BAFTA Rocliffe screenwriting competitions. She was the assistant chair for the Fremantle UK New Talent Award, as part of the Women in Film & Television Awards 2012 and has been a mentor for First Light.
