Screenwriting is a collaborative process – and for writers it can become a confusing labyrinth… Join Karol to discuss ways to take and field development notes. How do protect your work and fulfil your brief as well as satisfy your creative spirit? This will be an open discussion – with Q & A. Perfect both for writers and anyone in Development.
Karol Griffiths is a development consultant and script editor with over twenty years of experience. She works with a wide variety of talent internationally including: Silver Reel, Endemol Shine, BBC, ITV, Sky Arts, Warner Brothers, Universal, Disney, Paramount and Fox Studios, Amblin Entertainment, The Coen Brothers, Working Title, Revelations Entertainment, and La Plante Productions. Film highlights include: The Big Lebowski, Under Suspicion, Nights in Rodanthe, The Flintstones, and Archipelago. And the soon to be released – Escape from Pretoria – starring Daniel Radcliffe. Television highlights: Above Suspicion, Roseanne, Friends and Just Shoot me. Karol also teaches, lectures and mentors and her book, The Art of Script Editing – A Practical Guide To Script Development is used as a textbook for screenwriting around the world.
