Please join us for an evening with WFTV Mentoring Scheme Producer, Executive Coach and Yoga Instructor Tracy Forsyth who will be offering us practical advice using adapted yoga techniques to aid our physical and mental readjustment to working from home.

Throughout this session Tracy will be taking us through a series of moves to help relieve physical tensions associated with working from home, and breathing techniques to help us stay calm, grounded and focussed during difficult times.

You do not need any previous yoga experience, this is an inclusive session for all levels. Please wear comfortable clothes which you can move around in.

Tracy Forsyth is the former Genre Director of Factual Entertainment, Entertainment & Formats at BBC Worldwide. She is now the producer of the WFTV Mentoring Scheme, a media consultant and executive coach to CEOs and Women in Leadership. In 2018 she qualified as a Yoga Teacher. Originally, she wanted to learn yoga for her own personal practice and never intended to teach. But over the year long course she discovered so many things in the Eight Limbs of Yoga that are so relevant and apt to life off the mat – especially in our working lives. Things like how to find courage, conviction and kindness (to self and others). How to open your heart to do the things that are meaningful to you; how to open your throat to speak up and speak out; how to find inner and physical strength for resilience in this hectic world and how to breathe to feel powerfully calm. With that in mind Tracy developed  ‘Yoga in the Boardroom’ which she has successfully delivered across the UK. In this current climate Tracy has carefully adapted her sessions to specifically suit those now working from home.

How will the online event work?

This event will be live streamed via Zoom.us. Viewing details will be sent via your Eventbrite confirmation.

Participants accessing the live stream will be muted until the Q&A opens. You will not be visible to the other participants.

After the talk, there will be an opportunity for a Q&A with live stream participants. We’re really keen for you, our members, to feel part of the conversation so during the Q&A you will be able to ask questions through audio.

During the Q&A, to ask a question simply click the ‘Raise your hand’ feature on the Participants tool bar and you will be added to the queue. The host will try their best to open questions to as many members as possible, so that you can ask your questions directly to our panellists. If you’d like to take part in the Q&A, prior to the webinar please make sure that the device you will be using to stream has a microphone.
