For those entering acting or wanting to take their career to the next level, in this session Abigail Longstaffe will be covering everything you need to know about the business of acting.

The talk will cover a range of topics including; advice on headshots, showreels and voicereels; top tips for contacting casting directors and agents; how to use social media as a self-promotion tool as well as the common mistakes and pitfalls to avoid.

After the talk there will be an opportunity for you to put your questions to Abigail during the Q&A.



Abigail Longstaffe, International Business Development Manager, The Mandy Network

Abigail trained at Mountview Academy before working professionally on commercial tours and in the West End after which she moved over to casting and agency work. At The Mandy Network she runs the business development teams in the UK, US and Canada and regularly gives talks to drama school students around the UK.
