Join WFTV Northern Ireland for an insightful masterclass with C4 Commissioning Editor, Specialist Factual, Nicola Brown. Nicola will be discussing how she developed her career in film and TV and revealing her top tips for making it in the industry. She will also be talking about some of the many hit shows she has worked on. And Nicola will also be discussing what it’s really like to be a commissioner and the key secrets to successfully pitching your idea.

The session will run as an interview with a Q&A at the end and is aimed at a wide range of women from anyone wanting to find out more about the world of commissioning to those interested in developing their careers in film and TV or finally getting that elusive commission.

Nicola Brown, originally from Northern Ireland, joined Channel 4 from Shine TV where she held the position of Head of Documentaries. As executive producer, she has overseen some of the highest profile and highest rating factual series on the Channel including The Island with Bear GryllsHunted and Celebrity Hunted.
