At the heart of the Film & TV industry is the creative content which is produced, distributed and broadcast.  Protecting your ideas and the artistic material you create is therefore essential, as is safeguarding the brand or business identity behind that work from the start.

Luckily for you our February session will look at intellectual property rights that can help protect a project, and also what it is important to think about when setting up a company / business. Led by Amy Bradbury and Kostyantyn Lobov, both Associates of Harbottle & Lewis.

This session will look at some of the legal concepts which can be relied on to protect you and your projects, covering:

  • What to think about when setting up a business and establishing a brand
  • The legal rights which offer protection for creative work
  • How to protect the confidentiality of your material

Sarah Lazarides from the Film & TV team will also be at the session to offer some useful tips based on her particular industry expertise.

A light breakfast will be served at 9.00am for a prompt 9.30am start.
