Gentleman Jack: An Audience with triple BAFTA winning screen writer, Sally Wainwright, hosted by BBC Radio 5 live presenter Anna Foster

An exciting opportunity to meet Sally Wainwright, top screen writer and director. Creator of the hit TV drama, “Gentleman Jack”, now recommissioned for a 2nd series, Sally is also celebrated for her TV series, “Happy Valley”, “Last Tango in Halifax” and “Scott and Bailey”.


BBC Radio 5 live presenter Anna Foster will find out how Yorkshire-born Sally began her writing career in the North, the challenges she has faced along the way, and what it’s like now to be a writer and director calling the shots, on both sides of the Atlantic.



This event is not gender exclusive and is open to all.
