WFTV Event: Speed-Networking for Directors and Producers

This session is for Directors and Producers hoping to collaborate on drama and other fiction projects. It will be hosted by Sienna Beckman, co-founder of Emergence Films and will begin at 7:00pm.
This event will give members the chance to pitch and discuss new projects one on one. Not only is this a great opportunity to practice your pitch but also a chance to form new working relationships for upcoming projects with fellow members.
Directors will have five minutes to pitch and discuss their proposed projects with each Producer. There will be ten slots available per role (10 Directors/10 Producers) filled on a first come first served basis.
To sign up for this members only event, email email@example.com with your name and role by Wednesday 10th July. Once you have been offered a place you will need to provide the following materials to secure it:-
DIRECTORS – a half page biography and a half page project synopsis
PRODUCERS – a half page biography and an indication of your key areas of interest in film producing: Feature vs short, genre etc.
Sienna Beckman is the co-founder of Emergence Films – a film and TV development and production company committed to creating more opportunities for women and supporting female-driven projects around the world. Sienna lived in Los Angeles for 10 years and has produced for a number of companies including Esquire TV (NBC Universal), Scott Free Productions, Verizon go90, YouTube Red, Prettybird Entertainment, Fullscreen Media, and Maker Studios (Disney). Her short film BIRTHDAY BOY was executive produced by Jean-Marc Vallee (Director of BIG LITTLE LIES & WILD), was bought by HBO. Sienna has also worked as head of production for YouTube influencer Anna Akana (2M subscribers), where has she produced over 30 short films and comedy sketches.
