WFTV Event: Lifetime Shorts Film Competition Screening
WFTV and Curzon Home Cinema Partnered up with Lifetime on their Shorts Competition at the end of 2016. WFTV are excited to be able to show these incredible shorts to our members.
The competition, part of Lifetime’s global Broad Focus initiative to celebrate and promote the work of women behind the camera, attracted almost 200 entries from UK-based film-makers.The winning films were selected by a prestigious industry judging panel comprised of: WFTV CEO Kate Kinninmont; WFTV UK Chair and producer Cassandra Siggsgard; actor and producer Michelle Collins; director Destiny Ekaragha; and General Manager UK at A+E Networks Heather Jones.
The below shorts will be screened:

- Charlotte Regan with Standby
- Lauren Morton with 3,217
- Megan K. Fox with GIRL
- Rosie Gaunt-Mathieson with Raymond
- Ruth Sewell with Countryphile
- Sarah Clift with The Good Mother
Natalie Samson, Head of Awards and Events of WFTV (UK) will lead a short Q&A with some of the Directors.
Places for this screening are strictly limited to 30 people so please only register for a ticket if you are definitely able to attend.
There will be a bar on the night to treat yourself to a glass from 18:30 for a prompt 19:00 start.
