WFTV Event: How to save money on Post Production

12th March 2020 18:30

Thursday 12 March | 18:30 – 20:30

St Anne’s Church | 55 Dean Street | Soho, London | W1D 6AF

Chloe Dean has been working with Productions, delivering to ‘on demand’ for the past 4 years. Post Production has become something of a ‘Dark Art’ as the technology advances so quickly. Chloe will be giving an overview of how HD and 4K differ and how you can find ways to keep your post budget on track. Her colleague Jessica Redman will be joining her to help give you a broad overview from all aspects of Post Production.

Speakers

Chloe Dean, Post Production Supervisor at Click Post Production. She is a fully independent Post Production Supervisor with over 13 years of experience. Chloe was the first to deliver the first ever 4K HDR Fact Ent program and has continued to be at the forefront of technology.

She is known for creating workflows for The Grand Tour for the past 3 seasons and is currently producing the 4th series. Alongside this, Chloe is working on various projects, which due to her non-disclosure agreement, we are unfortunately unable to disclose. However, she will be able to provide information on her expertise and challenges that she has faced and over-come along the way.

One particular issue at the moment is the speed at which technology is moving. Production Managers, Co-ordinators and secretaries have very little hope of being able to run post effectively.

Jessica Redman, Post Production Coordinator and Producer at Click Post Production. She has over 5 years experience gained within a facility and as a freelancer. Jess is highly experienced in managing schedules and creatives to allow for the most enjoyable final post process possible. Armed with her extensive knowledge of final post workflows, Jess is able to help keep to deadlines and manage the communications for the broadcaster and editorial teams. Jess has exceptional communication skills, coupled with her sense of humour and can do attitude is a must have on any production.
