WFTV Event: A Guide to Editing Documentary and Factual Entertainment Shows with Film Editor Zeb Achonu

This event aims to demystify the edit process and give a little insight into what might be going on inside the mind of your editor.
What information will she require before and during the process of working on your observational documentary or fact ent show? What could make the process run more smoothly? Can you really “Fix it in Post”?!
Film Editor Zeb Achonu will guide us through the process, reveal her secrets and top tips, and answer your questions. This session will be useful both for editors starting out in documentary and factual entertainment as well as women working in production hoping to make the most of their time in the edit.
Join us on Tuesday 5 March, doors will open at 6.30pm and the event will start promptly at 7:00pm.
Zeb is a Film and TV editor with almost 2 decades in the industry. She has worked across various genres spanning factual entertainment, drama, children’s, entertainment and music documentaries. She has cut BAFTA, EMMY and National TV award winning programmes.
Zeb is on the board of directors for Women In Film & TV (UK), and a member of the Guild of British Film & TV Editors.
Recent work includes EastEnders (BBC1), Bear Grylls Survival School (CITV) and Paul O’Grady’s For The Love Of Dogs (ITV). She also has feature length documentary in progress.
