WFTV: Commissioning Special – Behind the Scenes of Gogglebox

1st May 2018 09:00

Tuesday 1 May | 9.00am – 11am | Theatres Trust

Do you want to learn the secrets behind one of Channel 4’s most successful programmes? WFTV are hosting a one-off commissioning special with Tania Alexander – Director of Factual Entertainment at Studio Lambert – the mind behind the award-winning Gogglebox.

In this informal session, Tania will talk us through the pitch development, casting, filming, editing and the challenges of making Gogglebox. This is a rare chance to see behind the scenes and to gain an insight into what makes a factual entertainment series successful. There will be an opportunity for a Q&A with Tania at the end of the session.

We will be serving hot drinks and breakfast croissants from 9.00am, and the session will begin promptly at 9.30am.
