If you have any questions about your finances and the effect of Covid-19 on them, the Smith and Williamson team are happy to offer their advice. If you have any other enquiries on other financial issues, they are also able to deal with them too. The surgeries will be done via telephone with the most relevant member of the Smith & Williamson for your topic to discuss.

Anne McClean, Director, Financial Planning
Anne has specialised in providing private client advice since 2004 and her experience encompasses advising individuals and their families on all aspects of holistic financial planning. Typical clients are entrepreneurs, business owners and high-income professionals.
Advice encompasses all aspects of pre and post retirement planning, financial planning in relation to divorce; tax-efficient investments and estate planning.
Anne begins with the end in mind and all planning flows from the clients own goals and objectives.
Anne’s style is straightforward and jargon free and leads to long term, collaborative relationships with multi generations of families.

Charlotte Smith, Senior Manager, Business Tax Services
Charlotte has 9 years of experience of working with owner managed businesses, alongside larger international businesses. She has extensive experience of tax compliance and governance services and dealing with tax authorities. Her experience ranges from the provision of corporation and partnership compliance and tax accounting services to advisory services and risk mitigation. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has a good understanding of wider business issues such as funding requirements, accounting and employment related tax issues.
Charlotte has over 6 years of experience within professional services, and a further 2 years working within an in-house tax team at Bank of America. Her experience has given her a detailed understanding of the issues facing clients, and she provides tailored, innovative and proactive solutions designed for multiple stakeholders.

Hannah Vennables, Tax Manager, Private Client Tax Services
Hannah has over fifteen years’ experience in private client taxation. Her clients include a variety of self-employed individuals, high net worth individuals, and non-UK domiciliaries.
Hannah produces detailed advice on a variety of tax matters including residence and remittance planning, principle private residence relief issues and inheritance tax advice.
Hannah has assisted recently self-employed client’s with registering with HMRC and providing advice on allowable expenses, relief’s available and record keeping.
Hannah is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, the Association of Taxation Technicians and Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
