Then join us on Thursday 21st February when host Liz Tucker, WFTV Chair, will speak to Mandy Chang, the BBC Commissioning Editor of Storyville and Acquisitions, about what makes great television and what you need to do to get that elusive commission.
Mandy’s recent commissions include: Last Men in Aleppo; My Mother’s Lost Children; Weiner – Sexts, Scandals and Politics; Waco: Madman or Messiah; Under the Wire and John Curry: The Ice King.
About Mandy Chang
Mandy Chang has been the Commissioning Editor of Storyville and Acquisitions since 2017. Before this, she worked for the ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) as the acting Head of non-scripted television across Entertainment, Factual, Live Events and Arts.
Prior to her role at the ABC, Chang worked as a documentary filmmaker, writer, series producer and executive producer for British indies and UK broadcasters. Her feature documentary: The Mona Lisa Curse, for Channel 4 won an Emmy, a Grierson, Rose D’Or and the Banff Grand Jury Prize.
