Are you drafting, signing and/or negotiating media agreements (for example, media rights or production agreements)? Do you know what to watch out for? Want to talk through this with a legal media commercial expert?
We are delighted that Hayley Brady, Senior Media and Entertainment Lawyer at Herbert Smith Freehills, has offered to do this 1-2-1 surgery exclusively for WFTV members here at the WFTV office. This session will focus on key terms of agreements and is aimed at answering queries that you may have on media agreements that you are signing, drafting and/or negotiating. Having a general understanding of key terms of media agreements is fundamental for those operating in the Television and Film industries and getting it right upfront can avoid problems later down the line!
This unique session will cover both commercial terms and legal terms (such as indemnities, liability and governing law and jurisdiction) and will give you an opportunity to receive tailored legal advice on your agreements.
Described in Legal 500 as ”unflappable under pressure, with incredible stamina and a real eye for detail”, Hayley adopts a very commercial approach with her media and entertainment clients.
