19th June: WFTV Workshop: How to work the Edinburgh TV Festival

Are you going to the Edinburgh TV festival this summer, or are you thinking about it?

Not sure if it is for you, or have you been before and think you could have got more out of it?

Lyn Burgess (WFTV) will be chatting to Amy Brown, Festival Director (and WFTV member) and asking her to give you tips and hints on how to make the most of your time and how to profile your business at this year's festival.  She has seen first-hand who makes the best use of this event and how they do it.

Now in its 34th successful year the Festival is held annually over the August bank holiday weekend (22-24 August 2008).  The programme involves keynote lectures, preview screenings, masterclasses, interviews and networking parties which make for a stimulating Festival weekend.  Some of this summer's highlights include a How To Look Good Naked Speicial with Gok Wan, Jamie Oliver cooking and chatting to Peter Bazalgette, and a line-up of speakers including Molly Dineen, Jana Bennett, Peter Fincham, Graham Linehanm and the writers of Skins.

The festival is attended by over 2000 UK and international delegates representing the full spectrum of the industry including controllers, commissioners, producers, directors, marketers, new media companies, distributors and press.

Engaging, vibrant and fun, EITF is a sociable experience that celebrates success and is committed to the development of new talent.  Join us to find out more.

This event takes place on Thursday 19 June at 6.30pm, at WFTV Offices, Unit 2, Wedgwood Mews, 12-13 Greek Street, Soho, W1D 4BB.

Join us after the workshop for a complimentary class of wine!
