The WFTV Cannes Drinks Reception 2008!

The first Saturday of this year’s Cannes Film Festival saw Women in Film and Television International take over the Kodak Pavilion to host a networking event for over 250 members from around the globe.  Traditionally known as the best night in the 12-day festival for parties, the WFTV event did not disappoint as keen attendees braved the unusually bad weather (rain… lots of rain!) to meet new contacts and share a conversation or two over a glass of wine. WFTV (UK) Chief Executive Kate Kinninmont maintained a strong presence throughout the evening, talking with many of the guests and also presenting 2 bottles of wine to the winner of the business card raffle competition which was announced as the evening drew to a close.
