Currently working as a freelancer, Lucy Winch supplies rights clearance services to production companies, ad agencies and content owners, specialising in music clearance. After working as Licensing Manager at the Demon Music Group and successfully exploiting their extensive music catalogue through 3rd party and sync licensing worldwide, Lucy co-founded The Licensing Team to place music from independent record labels and music publishers in film & TV productions across Europe and in the US.
Gary Welch is a Licensing Consultant within the Broadcast & Online Licensing division at MCPS. He has been working directly with UK Indies for over 2 years and handles music licensing for key indie companies as well as UK music programmers and distributors. He is experienced in licensing across Broadcast, Online & Film and has previously worked in the music industry within promotion, distribution and at a label.
